MARCH 2011: GERM placed
2nd out of 31 teams represented at the Albatross Open,
bowing to the host Ancient Mariners by 23 points. GERM men
finished first, and the women were fourth over all. No new
team records were set by our relays, but the following
individuals set new team marks: Amy Cooley: W55-59 100 and
200m breast; Jeanne Lappin: W55-59 200 and400m I.M.; Denise
Noznesky: W45-49 200m free, 200 and 400m I.M.; Del Brockett:
M50-54 50, 100 and 200m back; Tim Brockway: M50-54 50 fly
and 50 free; Scott Golden: M45-49 100m fly; Anthony Higgins:
M40-44 50m back; Bryan Main: M35-39 200m back; Ken Wall:
M70-74 50m back and free, 100m I.M and free; Karl Wunderlich:
M 45-49 100m free.
